Coach Longo begins his seventh season as Masconomet's JV Coach for the 2025-2026 season. Prior to joining the Lady Chieftains coaching staff, Hector spent eight years as the coach of the Masconomet Freshman Boys Basketball team. He has also coached Freshman Basketball at both Whittier Tech in Haverhill and North Shore Tech, while coaching football and baseball at both schools as well.

Currently a paraprofessional at Masconomet, Hector had been a Sports Writer at The Eagle-Tribune in Lawrence for 25 years, and remains a free-lance writer for the Boston Sports Journal covering the New England Patriots for the past 23 seasons.
